Warranty

This limited warranty applies to GRIT Motorcycle Gear products sold through authorised channels. It supplements your statutory rights as a consumer (e.g. conformity of goods) where those rights cannot be waived under mandatory law in your country.

What this limited warranty covers

For a defined period from delivery to you (see product documentation or your order confirmation), GRIT warrants that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, in accordance with our care and use instructions. If a defect covered by this warranty is confirmed, we may, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund—subject to availability and applicable law.

If we have not stated a specific period for your product, contact us; otherwise statutory conformity periods in your jurisdiction may still apply regardless of this statement.

What is excluded

• Crash, impact, abrasion, or any accident, including racing or track incidents.
• Normal wear and tear (fading, minor scuffs, stretched leather, worn fastenings after extended use).
• Damage from misuse, alteration, non-authorised repair, improper cleaning, or storage (chemicals, solvents, excessive heat).
• Damage from failure to maintain the product or to retire it after a serious impact.
• Fit or comfort issues where the product was made to measurements or choices you supplied—see Sizing Guide and Returns & Exchanges.
• Subjective expectations (e.g. "feel" vs another brand) or minor cosmetic variation that does not affect function or safety.
• Products bought from unauthorised resellers, second-hand, or without proof of purchase.

Safety-critical notice

Motorcycle protective gear can reduce injury risk but cannot guarantee protection. Any gear involved in a significant crash should be inspected by a qualified professional and may need replacement per industry guidance, even if damage looks minor.

How to make a warranty claim

1. Stop using the product if you believe there is a safety-relevant defect.
2. Email info@gritmotorcycle.com with order number, clear photos of the issue, and a short description of use and care.
3. Follow our instructions for return or inspection. Do not destroy evidence of the defect without our agreement.

Remedy limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GRIT's liability under this limited warranty is limited to the purchase price paid for the affected product or the cost of repair/replacement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages except where prohibited by mandatory law.
